Gingerbread pieces baked

It took 2 days to make all the castle pieces, simply because the oven could only bake so many pieces at a time.

The gingebread pieces had to be cooled and dried before they could be used, otherwise they would crack.

The gingerbread castle turned out to be about 10% larger than we had planned, because the gingerbread expanded! Look at how puffy the pieces are.
